Some feel spiritualism is imbued with unsatisfactory experiences, yet it is becoming a great potent factor in learning about “Self”. Some desire to lift the curtain which veils the future and the desire to communicate with their Guides. Once you began to quiet your mind, you will discover that there were many moments in life which lent towards a vibrant type of spiritual experience. By spiritual experience, it means to describe the moments that arise when you are simply overwhelmed, by the experience of being alive.
Such experiences will become more common as you learn how to love and respect yourself. Do not be plagued by memories of awkward or negative moments from your life. When you do then you would find yourself constantly criticizing what you have done in the past. You can not change the fact of what you have done. There will be times when you focus on what could be in the future instead of the past. Do not be brainwashed to feel the need to compete with others, to constantly compare your successes and shortcomings with anyone. Questions like “What if I don’t pass the test, or do not get the right job? What if I am not as important or famous as my friends? What if I never meet my true love?” Such thoughts can wreak endless havoc.
When you sit down and really examine what makes you tick; this will begin the process of you observing your mind in all its wrappings. Then your fears fade away never to return. You will start to realize how meaningless these thoughts and anxieties are, as they involved things you can not change (the past) and things you did not know in the future. The moment that actually mattered is the present when this happens you will realize there is no need to worry.
The genuine spiritual experience does not involve an alter, a prayer, or a priest of any kind. It is a true connection with “Yourself.” The more you examine the perhaps endless depths of your own being, the more you begin to realize that the “Almighty” holds court within each of you. There are some who insist on creating their own mental prisons which mask this presence in their everyday lives. If you would remove the shroud of fear, you will see the presence of the holy of holies within yourself. At such a moment, there is a complete understanding of the mystery and beauty of your own place in the universe, and that each of you, despite whatever illusion to the contrary, is in fact the universe.
You can be at ease with the uncertainty of the world when you realize the certainty of your consciousness. Often people are certain about the world but uncertain about God and love. They rely on something that is not reliable, and then get upset. Uncertainty causes you to crave for more stability, the most stable thing in the universe is your self.
The ultimate result of any truly spiritual path is the negation of the individual self. You can not begin on your personal spiritual path unless you realize you must be an individual. That means free your self from the demands of any system, organization or a person. People can spend an entire lifetime following the teachings or beliefs of others and not find their true path. Some are not ready to make changes even though the truth solves all their problems. The problems of the world is the majority of the population would simply rather not let go of their currently opinions, beliefs and thought processes because they are attached and addicted to them.
It is time to wake up and become aware that you and only you have the truth to your life and its path. The real Truth is eternal and changeless. It has always been relevant, and it always will be. Real spirituality involves bettering yourself by ways of selflessness, love and higher levels of awareness – truth that helps you let go of concepts and thoughts. It is those concepts and thoughts that obstruct your peace of mind. Spirituality is not the introduction of more concepts. It is peace of mind, peace of mind means Silence of mind. Spiritual truth deconstructs, dismantles, dissects, and disassembles the mind and it’s thought processes. Only you are the master of your self. Only you have the power at any time to transform your thoughts from ugly to beauty.

- This energy vibrates your soul to the beautiful tones of love and light

This meditation will empower you to the great awakening necessary for your life’ path. The Maroon Bells mountain peak near Aspen, Colorado has the two peaks with a snow mass wilderness area. There is a pass by the mirror like reflective Maroon Lake, filled with wildflowers and animals. If you are lucky you will see the sun rise, lighting up the mountain or enjoy the beautiful cloud set in a rosy alpine glow at the end of the day. When you look up to the mountain there are ribbons of multi-strata from eons past. The mountain rises at sharp angles to form the rough “bell” peaks that almost all year are dotted with white patches of snow. The Elk helps to show you how to pace yourself with increasing stamina. Birds represent your freedom.
“Each of us builds our own prison or our own palace. Every conscious thought, every utterance of our lips, every interaction of ours with the world leaves its imprint upon an aura that surrounds each of us and stays with us wherever we go. All life, all blessing, all that is transmitted from Above must pass through that aura. Even if it be the greatest of blessings, the aura may distort it into an ugly noise. Or it may resonate and amplify it even more. An aura of beauty attracts beauty. An aura of love attracts love. An aura of life and joy attracts unbounded light. Only you are the master of that aura. Only you have the permission and the power at any moment to transform your thoughts from the ugly to the beautiful, your words from bitter to sweet, your deeds from death to life. And so too, your entire world.”
