“Emotional Awareness”

March Message 2021
Master Koot Hoomi

As the 21st century began, countless were in search of ordinary emotions and spiritual ground.

An attempt to scientifically validate this thirst for emotions and spirituality, they built it on the relatively new scientific disciplines of cultural anthropology, ethology (animal behavior) and neuroscience. In essence, everything is energy, which is the basic building block of life. It is life’s energy or aliveness. Each of you are on earth to be fully alive. Successively, it can be illuminating to ask yourself how alive you feel under different conditions and in different situations. You may notice that when you feel stressed, unhappy, and far from the life you desire, your sense of aliveness is much different than it is when you feel.

The emotions such as, love, joy, hope, faith/trust, forgiveness, gratitude, and compassion are positive emotions. The spiritual ground affects, the living matrix, which is the central connector between living cells assist you to an emotional balance. Electrical conductivity exists within the matrix that functions as your immune system defense, like antioxidants. Through grounding, the natural defenses of the body can be restored.

Emotional awareness involves understanding your emotions and addressing them in a healthy way that honors all concerned. Your spiritual awareness will lift emotions to a higher level, towards a place where you can connect with your divine nature and the truth that unites you.

Everything on earth has a negative and positive vibration, the yang and yang. Light, is the positive energy, and darkness is the negative energy. The positive balances the negative. Spirituality is virtually indistinguishable from these positive emotions and is, thus, rooted in your emotional evolutionary biology. Because these emotions are also the same for which most religions strive, spirituality is a common denominator for all faiths. Your awareness impacts the way you think about yourself and how others perceive you. Emotional awareness is essentially being able to identify the emotions you are experiencing at any given time. It will help you to manage your emotions effectively. Your ability to understand your own emotions will have effects on your performance. You will know what you are feeling and why, and how it helps or hurts what you are trying to do. You will sense how others see you and align your self-image with a larger reality.

Your accurate sense of your strengths and limitations will intensify, which gives you a realistic self-confidence. It also gives you clarity on your values and sense of purpose, so you can be more decisive when you set a course of action. When talking, you would be candid and authentic, speaking with conviction about your vision.

When you use the term spirituality, you are indicating that spirituality is all about positive emotions. These emotions of love, hope, joy, forgiveness, compassion, trust, gratitude, and awe, they are enormous in value to the fact they all help “to break out of the ego cage of ‘I and mine.’

Negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, sadness, and anger are inborn, the problem is that negative emotions are all dedicated to individual survival. Negative emotions are “all about me.” In contrast, positive emotions free the self from the self.  People feel the emotions of both vengeance and of forgiveness deeply, but the long-term effects of these two emotions are quite different.

Negative emotions are often crucial for survival, but only in time present. The positive emotions are more expansive and helps you to broaden and build. Emotions help you to survive in time future. Careful experiments have documented that while negative emotions narrow attention and miss the forest for the trees. When you are frightened, angry, or depressed, it is hard to be creative or to learn new things. The positive emotions, especially joy, make thought patterns more flexible, creative, integrative, and efficient.

In essence, everything is energy, which is the basic building block of life. We call it life energy or aliveness. Each of you are on earth to be fully alive. Successively, it can be illuminating to ask yourself how alive you feel under different conditions and in different situations. You may notice that when you feel stressed, unhappy, and far from the life you desire, your sense of aliveness is much different than it is when you feel joyful, excited about your future, and connected with the blessing’s life has to offer.

A high value is placed on peoples IQ’s and mental intelligence. While a sound mind is essential, other aspects of the self are also essential to your full potential. In your roles of life, it is important to realize your full potential involves embracing your wholeness by integrating the body, emotions, mind, and spirit. Along with mental development, this includes developing emotional and spiritual intelligence.

There are many ways to define “emotions,” but they usually fall into one of two categories. They can be a state or feeling that cannot be conjured up at will, or they are attitudes or responses to a situation or an object.

How you help yourself with balanced emotions is to prepare yourself to let go of your connections to any particular outcome so that you can be open to something bigger than you can think of. Let life lead you down unexpected turns and you will discover magic in the most ordinary places.

Meditation to assist you with Emotional Awareness:

  1. Take a deep breaths and exhale slowly for 3 times.
  2. Visualize your balance colors of Pink and Blue, your yang and yang flowing from your toes to the top of your head.
  3. Feel your colors balancing your energy inside your body.
  4. You are relaxed, visualize your heart pumping your balanced colors and flowing out to the Universe.
  5. Flow your thoughts, I will Practice Gratitude, feel your heart’s connection with gratitude.
  6. I Feel my Emotional Awareness in great balance with the love of my heart and Universal Love.
I am releasing to the Universal Love all my tension and wasted energy, repressing or denying how I feel, my emotions in my  body. Instead of pretending to be something that I am not, I feel honestly, and I allow the simple truth of my emotions to set me free. I feel my Emotional Awareness.
  7. I will Use My Senses: Sending colors and pleasant thoughts through my organs of my five senses orient my field of awareness toward the present moment, through what I see, what I touch, what I smell and taste. I direct my awareness to what I like about my current experience.
  8. I am flowing the wonderful Universal Love back into my heart.

Something to help you daily, is get plenty of fresh air and see the sunlight as much as possible. Notice and appreciate life. and be conscious of your breathing throughout the day.

Feelings or emotions are the Universal Language and are to be honored. They are the authentic expression of who you are at your deepest place.” By Judith Wri
