Your Mind and Your Heart

Continuous… Lesson #3 from 1994 Automatic Writings.

Free your mind and your heart will govern. Faced with a decision or conflict, your mind will come up with various, different and strong  logical reasons why you should act as it advises, but if you listen and trust your heart—nevertheless irrational or absurd it may seem—it is usually right and you are happier with your outcome.

What is fascinating is that your heart contains a little brain, that little brain is your soul. Yes, the human heart, in addition to its other functions, possesses a heart-brain composed of about 40,000 neurons that can sense, feel, learn, and remember. Scientists say that the heart is more than just a pump. It contains neurons, an electromagnetic field much larger in amplitude, 5000 times more intense than that of the brain. Your heart is a state of intelligent consciousness.

One important way your heart can speak and influence your brain is when the heart is coherent – generating a stable, sine-wavelike pattern in its rhythms. When the heart rhythm is coherent, the body, including the brain, begins to experience all sorts of benefits, among them greater mental clarity and intuitive ability, including better decision making.

Although the heart and brain are in constant communication, you can intentionally direct your heart to communicate to your brain and body in beneficial ways. When you experience sincere positive emotions, such as caring, compassion or appreciation, the heart processes these emotions, and your heart’s rhythm becomes more coherent and harmonious. This information is sent to the brain and the entire body neurologically, biochemically, bio-physically, and energetically. You can shift into this coherent state to bring your mind and heart into harmonious alignment and have more access to intuition often in less than a minute. It can take a little practice to do this on demand, but it gets easier and quicker the more you do it.

It is important to allow your heart talk to your brain because it’s much more effective and will offer a smooth flow of ease and clarity for you. Whenever you need to, shift your focus to the heart and ask its guidance, your mind will want to rush ahead like call somebody about an issue especially if there is a deadline for something. Allow your heart to consistency grasp a deeper connection to the issue. Your heart intuition will be clear. It is important not to allow your mind to call out, or you will be reacting out of fear. You will be so glad you waited until you were neutral and calm. The results you get from decisions makes in a heart-coherent will confirm the effectiveness for you.

The smartest and the wisest thing you can do in life for yourselves and for others is to be true to yourselves. True to who you are deep down inside, your inner voice, your heart and intuition. If you dare to ignore what the heart is trying to communicate, you will get into huge trouble.  Be a brave one and listen to your heart. It will always be truthful, as your heart wants only the best for you.  By trusting your heart, you are validating your inner voice, affirming that you have the answer to what is best for you. Cherish your heart and cherish yourself.
