The Universal Year 2005 = 2+0+0+5 adds up to a “7” year in numerology. The energy of a 7 year creates a movement toward perfection and a wish to get to the root cause of everything. I remember New Years Eve, 2004 was a busy day and by the time ten o’clock rolled around, I found myself bringing in the New Year’s by “sawing logs.”
At a few minutes before midnight, a noise woke me. I sat up and wondered what it was, and then looking out the window. I noticed that the motion light was on in the back yard, casting a glow bright as daylight.
And then I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw an old man standing there in my yard. He had a flowing white beard and was stooped over, hefting a scythe on his shoulder, heading for the woods. The old fellow looked so cold, old and burdened down, as if from all the woes of 2004.
Just as the clock struck midnight, there was a knock at the door.
I opened the door to find a little boy standing in front of me, bare-naked but with a big smile on his face. I let him in and wrapped him in my old red sweater. He didn’t seem cold, but all that exposed flesh made me break out in goose bumps.
There he was, all smiles and joy, and my thoughts turned to that weary old man I’d just seen trudging down the hill, carrying his burden. I gave him a glass of warm milk and told him I hoped that all would go well with him in the coming year. Considering the woes on this beautiful planet, I knew we needed a lot of smiles, love and happiness.
The last I saw the tot, he was hoppity-skippping towards town whistling, “Life is just a bowl of cherries.” I wondered how long it would be before the little fellow would be chanting, “Show Me The Way To Go Home, I’m Tired And I Want To Go To Bed!”
New Year’s Day was first celebrated during the Middle Ages on March 25th, but in the 16th century in Europe, the date was changed to January 1st. I mention this because it suggests that you can start a new life at any time, and without anyone to tell you, “Now is the time.”
A good place to start is to review your “personal” year according to numerology. In numerology, we all have birth numbers corresponding to these “personal” years, and they change with each new year.
To find your personal year, add your birth-month, day and the current year, 2005.
For Example: 9+03+2005 = 1. A person with a “1” personal year is entering a year of certain characteristics. The next year, 2006, this person will be in a “2” personal year. When you reach your “9” personal year – the end of the cycle — the following year you start over as a “1”. Thus, your life is always being recreated on earth.

It is time for you to take any ideas and put them into action with leadership to constructively employ what you desire. #1 Personal year constructively is ambitious, inventive and progressive. Negatively #1 Personal year brings out the energy within you of egotistical, selfish or eccentric. The color for this year is Red.
2 Personal Year — A year to balance your personal life and career. It will be a slower moving year and it will help you gather information to fulfill any circumstances that needs to be cared for. #2 Personal Year constructively is understanding, receptive and cooperative. A Negative #2 will vacillate and shy about making progress for life changes. The color for this year is Orange.
3 Personal Year — It’s a year about high emotions and needs to be calmed by being creative. Emotions are like gas to an automobile and the force is how you accelerate your energy. #3 constructively is to be artistic, sociable and enthusiastic about life. A negative #3 is critical, superficial and careless. The color for the year is Yellow
4 Personal Year — You will find security and stability to be important this year. You will desire security above all else whether it is economic or emotional. 6. Personal Year — You will notice family and relationships are more important in the #6 year. You will feel compelled to show others what to do and how to do it and your chief concern is for those you love and serve. It’s an emotional year and best to do creative work for personal and career. 7 Personal Year — A year of many changes and it’s in your attitude not to create irruption for this year. Flow with the changes and accept what you have created. If you don’t like it then meditate and make the necessary changes. #7 personal year constructively means use your intuition, poise and spirituality to succeed. Negatively mean you could be too critical, melancholy and skeptical. Color for this year is Violet.
8 Personal Year — Power and money is what this year is all about. Use it constructively and you will surpass any obstacle that may be in your way. Using this year’s energy constructively is to be an organizer and lead in a balance flow. Negatively you will be intolerant, ostentatious and strained with life. The color for this year is Rose
9 Personal Year — #9 is an ending cycle and best to close any unfinished business. Clean out your closets organize your life and rest. It is best not to start anything new since it’s an ending cycle and if you do know that it wont last long in your life. A constructively 9 personal year is one to be tolerant, humane and creative. It is a high emotional year and best to take nature hikes, meditate and have a creative outlet. Negatively you will be overly emotional, egocentric or dissipating. The color for this year is Gold.
It would be wise to read and practice what your personal year teaches and it will offer you a sound procedure for moving into a constructive way of living. If you would ask me what to study, I would say, yourself; and when you well have studied it, and ask what to study next, I would reply yourself. He who knows well his lower self, knows the illusion of the world, knows of the things that pass away; and he who knows his higher self knows God; knows well the things that cannot pass away. It’s a power within all and those who seek shall reap the harvest to a greater life.”
Meditation For Your Personal Year
- Take a deep breath, count to 10 and exhale. Do this 3 times.
Visualize Pink and Blue colors inside your body, flowing from your toes to the top of your head. - Visualize Pink, Blue and Gold flowing outside and around your body. Picture your Personal Year Number inside a silver balloon flowing out to the Universe.
- Then say “God Is My Source and Love Is My Light. I Am free, I Am Healthy, I am Wealthy and I Am Wise” and feel the Universe’s Love energizing your New Year.
- See your balloon flowing back inside your heart.
This Meditation can help you through out the year especially when life seems to be out of sort. If that occurs, then go inside your heart and feel your sliver balloon filled with you and the Universe’s Love and balance. Take a deep breath and then allow creative thoughts to show you the way.
