New Beginnings

Pythagoras was considered the "Father of Mathematics." He is most commonly remembered for the Pythagorean Theorem, which states that the square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides." However, Pythagoras was primarily a mystic and philosopher. He believed that "all things equate to numbers," numbers represent spiritual entities whose presence is felt in all existence.

Pythagoras was born 582 B.C. on the Greek Island of Samos, in the Aegean Sea. He taught, "Evolution is the law of life; Numbers is the law of the Universe; Unity is the law of God." He believed that everything in the universe was subject to predictable progressive cycles. His means of measuring these cycles were the numbers 1 through 9. Numbers operate on the spiritual plane, while figures are for measuring on the material plane.

January Monthly Message 2008

The Universal Year 2008 = 2+0+0+8 adds to a #1 year numerologically. It is to be a year for major changes; it holds promises of being an exciting year with new adventures. The year will take on new challenges that pave the way for the next nine year cycle. It year will be a year people will demand changes to help themselves and earth. Most of the problems and disappointments of the past will tend to disappear, leaving the way open for using this time to its full advantage.

This year will be filled with new beginnings, planting new ideas; a year for new opportunities. Confidence and determination will be on the rise. There may be some emotional turmoil for those who do not want to make changes. Earth is at a crossroads so you will need to be open minded, organized and focused to avoid distractions or procrastination. For those who are ready to do so, the fruits of their labors will pay off.

Earth will be honored with new creations. Earth's oldest symbol is represented by the turtle. The turtle has a shell which is similar to the protection that Earth has employed for centuries as her body. Earth will teach you new perceptions about time and your relationship to it. It will help you grow in harmony with your environment. When your pace of life becomes too hectic you must slow down and go with the flow.

Go within yourself and connect with your most primal essences. The turtle can not separate itself from its shell you can not separate yourself from what you do to the earth. The way to heaven is through the earth both are interconnected. It is time to see the mysteries of awakening your senses on both the physical and spiritual levels only then you can stimulate clairaudience.

New Beginnings

Last year 2007 Earth had labor pains for the rebirth of this year 2008. The beginning of newness for the planet so use your power of gentleness, be keen with your observation and sensitivity. Be in tune with nature and all it holds. Be a carrier of peace, show others how to open their hearts and love unconditionally. It will be a year to remember as Earth's love will rise higher while connecting with the Universal Love energy.

A good place to start is to review your "Personal" year through numerology. In numerology, everyone has birth numbers corresponding to their "Personal" years. These numbers change with each New Year.

The Personal Year is helpful in evaluating the trend of the coming calendar year. For a clue as to what lies ahead in the coming year, calculate your personal year using this formula:

First, reduce the month and day of your birth, your birthday, to a single digit. For example, February 8th, that single digit would be (2+8 = 10) (1+0=1). Next, reduce the year for which you are making the calculation to a single digit. The year 2003 would become 5. Now, add the single digit representing your birthday to the single digit representing the year in question. Thus, 2003 is a 6 personal year with these dates.

Calculate your personal year and see the likely trend of events for the year:

  • "The highest good is like water. Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive. It flows in places people reject and so is like the Tao. In dwelling, be close to the land. In meditation, go deep in the heart. In dealing with others, be gentle and kind.

In speech, be true. In ruling, be just. In business, be competent. In action, watch the timing." By Tao Te Ching.

Happy New Year.
